1).EXECUTIVE OFFICER HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION (Grade 10) RE-ADVERTISEMENT
Key Result Areas
- Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer;
- Responsible for the general management of Human Resources related issues (recruitment and selection, training and development, employee discipline, industrial relations);
- Responsible for Performance Management within the Council;
- Proffering legal advice to all Council related issues;
- Advising on the Development and Implementation of Human Resources Policies;
- Administration of Council meetings;
- Reward management;
- General Administration of Council;
- Preparing Departmental Estimates of Income and Expenditure;
- Gender Mainstreaming;
- Coordination of Development Partners programs
- Management or Administration of Social Amenities;
- Administration of Council Clinics and Schools;
Person Specification
- A Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent Social Science Class 2.1 or better
- Masters in the related field will be an added advantage
- Membership to IPMZ and a holder of IPMZ Diploma
- At least 3 years of experience at senior management in a Local Authority or related environment
- A clean class 4 Driver’s Licence
- At least 35 years old
- Ability to use accounting, payroll and HR software packages is an added advantage;
